Quicktime im- export workflows uitgelegd door de juiste persoon
Ik kwam deze tegen op de L2 waar Justin Kwan (mede verantwoordelijk voor de quictime codecs) aan geeft meer inzicht te willen verschaffen aangaande QT workflows. Hij heeft een blog geopend waar dit (zie bericht hieronder) het eerste resultaat van is.
Avid Editor Quicktime Work Flow For Proper Brightness Levels
There seems to be a decent amount of confusion about which settings should be selected when exporting a video as Quicktime and then importing the Quicktime movie into an Avid editor. In this article I will describe the proper settings for exporting video out of a third party application such as Adobe After Effects using the Avid Quicktime DNxHD codec and then importing the Quicktime DNxHD movie into an editor. Four workflows are shown, one of which is invalid. This same workflow should hold true for all the Avid Quicktime codecs. It will not apply to non-Avid Quicktime codecs....
Monitor Gang
In the Avid Audio Mixer tool there are gang adjustments that allow you to group adjustments across tracks and have two or more sliders move at the same time. This is very useful for stereo tracks or even adjusting multiple tracks in your timeline. In Avid Media Composer there is also a gang adjustment tool in the media composer window and its function is of a different nature.
